Real Fiction Radio: This is a place for authors and creative minds to discuss the real and imaginary forces that fuel stories. Featuring newly published works of fiction and nonfiction, the program discusses the people and events that inspired the messy first draft all the way to the final product.

Your Host: Lori Messing McGarry grew up in Nebraska in a radio family and lives in Arlington, Virginia and New York City with her husband Tom and their large cat, Tuk-Tuk. Formerly Director of Policy with the Wireless Association in Washington, DC, she has served on federal advisory committees and international telecommunications standards groups. An avid photographer and traveler, she has visited more than fifty countries.  Photography and blog can be found on SnappingPoints.com. She has a particular interest in Roma populations in Europe.
